Public Comments on the Proposed Three Sets of Arbitration Rules and the JCAA's Response and View

The JCAA called for the public comments on the proposed three sets of arbitration rules from November 16, 2018 to November 30, 2018 and many legal professionals gave their comments to the JCAA. The JCAA hereby expresses its gratitude to them.

The drafts of the rules were revised in consideration of these comments and the revised rules were submitted to the board of the JCAA on December 6, 2018. The board decided that the rules should be adopted and put into force on January 1, 2019.

In order to make the process of amendment and enactment of the arbitration rules transparent, the JCAA makes public the received comments and the JCAA’s response to and view on them as follows:

The comments are divided and classified in accordance with articles of the Rules in general. The JCAA’s response and view has been made on its own responsibility.
