Arbitration Seminar "Use and Considerations of Arbitration in Light of the Latest Status of JCAA Arbitration" (18 April 2023)

This webinar will begin with an overview of the latest information on the Japanese arbitration system. We will introduce the features of JCAA arbitration with reference to actual data in order to help you make better use of the JCAA. We will discuss as many specifics as possible, including cases in which Japanese companies have successfully utilized JCAA arbitration to quickly recover debts in foreign countries.

Kazuhiko Yamamoto (Executive Director, Arbitration and Mediation)

Prof. Yamamoto specializes in civil litigation, insolvency and arbitration law. Professor at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Law. He is also the President of the Japan Sports Arbitration Agency.

Shinji Ogawa (Chief, Arbitration and Mediation Department)

Mr. Ogawa began working at the JCAA in 2011 and is responsible for the day-to-day case management of the JCAA's arbitration and mediation cases.
